Fiven's Birthday 2010

Today, 231110, is my 25th birthday!!在这世界活了25年,我觉得我的人生还蛮不错的(自恋的人),哈哈!!I would like to thanks my parent for educating me for previous 25 years. I was a shame person and don know how to express my caring towards you both. In my deep heart, I was loving and caring and want my mama and papa to stay healthy and happy everyday!!!

Besides, the nicest thing happen in my life till now was fall in love with Zhong Xian (face red red while writing this sentence, hehe). I appreciate everything that he done for me; especially one cup of drink in the morning. W.A.R.M. For example, during this birthday, he planned two celebrations for me: 1) with housemate and 2) with my course-mate. Before that I never express my feeling to him, but through here, I would like to shout out, “Dear, thank you for everything!!!!I love you!!!!”

The first surprise was happening on my birthday eve (22/11/10) after having our delicious dinner. That time we are playing with computer. All of the sudden, my house light off and turn into dark. The ever first thing that I think at that moment was, “ZX where r u, hold on me, it was too dark”. With the help of torchlight, we manage going to downstairs and have a look, either is electrical short-circuit or whole area no light. It was dark around and ZX walk fast till left me at back. Again, all of sudden, I was shocked by Jo shouting and tear almost came out from eye. Apparently, my housemate was celebrating my birthday!

~Thanks you for my dear housemates! The surprise is really functioned!^.^~

For sure, the second surprise was held on my birthday (23/11/10). This celebration is some-sort like a house party. By referring back my memories, I found that this is first time having a birthday party at home since graduated from secondary school. Suddenly, the previous memories regarding the party appear in my mind, that time was F5, and we not yet finish our SPM exam; but then my friends were celebrating birthday with me. Really a nice memories and unforgettable experience! After 7 years, I managed to get another house birthday party. Yippie~ Thanks for Jane's mother for preparing us a super-duper delicious dinner (spaghetti and fried rice). Thanks for my course-mates that willing to celebrate my birthday although all are in busy period. Thousand thanks for all of you!

~Thanks for the cake, present and also the activity! It’s really a meaningful day!^.^~

Lunar Birthday + Haji Celebration on 171110

>> 1st destination: WAR MUSEUM PENANG
This fortress is located at Batu Maung Hill, southeast of Penang Island. We following the direction given by GPS, and finally we get the way from Bukit Jambul. Haha!! It was built in the 1930's by the British to protect the island from the invasion of enemies. The visit of War Museum cost us RM15 per adult, plus RM2 for each camera. Within this journey, there were 37 fort relics to step in and study the story behind. One of the most memories place was the tunnel that need us to crawl and climb through the tunnel. It was tired because the stair was long and 90oC straight up till you see the sunlight…Huh!!!! Besides, the scared things during the journey was the display, such as the people inside the jail, the General Yamashita gallow….In addition, there was a space purposely served as war game park. The environment was much better than those playing on grass, since there was cover with trees and the road was uneven. Below let me show some pictures taken in this visit:

~Tips: Remember to wear long pant if you are easily attack by mosquito….Wakaka!!!!~

>> 2nd destination: CHENG HO’S FOOTPRINT, BATU MAUNG
The San Bao Kung Temple in Penang Island is located in the southeast town of Batu Maung.

>> 3rd destination: SNAKE TEMPLE

>> 4th destination: CHEAH SI SEK TEK TONG
Being the first of great five Hokkien clan association in Penang, Cheah association was founded in 1820 by Cheah Yam. Cheah or Xie (谢) is one of the popular Chinese surname among Penangites and their history had started as early as 19th century. It is located at No 8, Armenien Street in the hustle and bustle of George Town, Cheah Kongsi's entrance is less than 100 m away from Khoo Kongsi of the Armenian Street entrance. We had passed by the entrance several times without realizing it is Cheah Kongsi. If you are coming from Beach Street towards Cannon Street, put some attention on your right as soon as you are on Armenian Street. Look for red color pillars hanged with a pair of traditional lanterns and ornamented dragons on roof-top. It is Cheah Kongsi! Deep in my heart, Cheah Kongsi premise is like a great home – an oasis that is quiet and tranquil!

~A tiny entrance leading into Cheah Kongsi vicinity~

>> 5th destination: HOCK TEIK CHENG SIN TEMPLE
A discovery by chance. The stone table erected by the road side in front of a Chinese traditional facade and walkway drew my attention to read the material on the stone tablet. Oh! It is Hock Teik Cheng Sin Temple which is a community temple devoted to the worship of Twa Peh Kong or sometimes written as 'Tua Pek Kong' (God of Prosperity and Morality).

>> 6th destination: FORT CORNWALLIS
Fort Cornwallis is an old star-shaped fort located on the northeastern coast of Penang, Malaysia. It is named after the late 18th century Governor-General of Bengal, India, Charles Cornwallis, 1st Marquess Cornwallis. Fort Cornwallis is the largest standing fort in Malaysia. Captain Sir Francis Light took possession of the island from the Sultan of Kedah in 1786 and built the original fort. It was a nibong stockade with no permanent structures, covering an area of 417.6 square feet (38.80 m2).

>> 7th destination: BEACH
After a tiring trip in Penang for about 9 hours, we take the oppurtinity to rest beside the beach. While enjoying the sea-wind, we oso can look at the sea in order to rest mind and feel so relaxing!!!!!!
